Mike Shinoda, született 1977 február 11. én Amerikába. Ő a Linkin Park egyik alapítója, azenekar rappere, énekese, dalszerzője, billentyűse, ritmusgitárosa. Ő végzi a grafikai illetve a keverési munkákat mind a 2 együttesben, a másik együttes: a Fort Minor .

Linkin Park honour Chester Bennington with emotional AMA speech "Ezt a díjat oda kell adnunk neki, emlékére." Linkin Park   tiszteletben tartotta a késő Chester Bennington emlékét az amerikai zenei díj (AMA) tegnap esti érzelmi beszédével. Miközben felvette a kedvenc alternatív rockzenész díját, Bennington zenekartársai,  Mike Shinoda,   Brad Delson  és  Rob Bourdon  elkötelezték a díjat neki halála után az év elején. The youngest child of four, his mother, Susan, was a nurse; his father, Lee, a police detective. The family moved home around the state a lot.
